Even though I may stumble in life
And possibly fall far into the abyss
I promise I will smile
And say everythings ok
Even when its not
I promise I will never forget
What those people have done to me
The words they said
That hurt more than a scourching hot knife
I promise I wont do what
Those heartless former friends did
So no one will feel that sort of pain
Where you feel alone in the world
I promise I will look to the sky
and think of the good in my life
and hide the bad
So now...
I refuse to go back on those promises
